Carer of the Month - November 2018
We're happy to announce the Hollybank Trust Carer of the Month for November 2018 is Bethany Winsor an apprentice at the Bradbury Centre. The nomination reads:
"During 2016 Beth became a volunteer for Hollybank Trust and supported the Elms team with the delivery of enrichment sessions. In November 2017 Beth was offered an opportunity to join the staff team as a Bradbury Centre Apprentice, undertaking a Level 2 apprenticeship in Swimming Teaching and supporting the day to day operations of the Bradbury Centre.During Beth’s apprenticeship which she expects to complete in the coming weeks, she has successfully qualified in ATSPRA Pool Rescue, ASA Level 1 Swimming Teacher and ASA Level 2 Swimming Teacher. Beth has developed and exceeded any expectations of an apprentice undertaking duties to the highest standard whilst also taking on additional responsibilities such as Learn to Swim Scheme bookings. Beth is fantastic whilst supporting the users of the Bradbury centre and is always willing to assist or cover sessions where she can. She will shortly be undertaking a rebound therapy qualification to support the ELMS & Bradbury team to further develop the offering for residents and the wider community. Beth’s confidence has developed during her apprenticeship and she is now dealing with customers, issues and enquiries and also delivering her own swimming classes with innovative and well planned activities. Beth is a well-deserved recipient of the carer of the month award. We would like to thank her for all her hard work."
Keep up the great work!
